Bala Sabha – at ZPHS Madgula on 25th December, 2013-Mahabubnagar

Life skills, such as creativity, judgment, communication abilities and emotion control, are essential for dealing with daily problems and getting through difficulties in life. Also, these skills are vital for children who live under the harsh conditions. Although the attainment oflife skills at school has been discussed, the actual practices are not enough...

Vandemataram Foundation worked towards spreading this message through Balasabha- an inter-school cultural event to develop children's self-awareness, critical thinking & creative thinking about their present lives.

Balasabha intended to bring out the latent talent in these kids and they exceeded our expectations in doing so, and turned out to be marvelous artists!

On 25, December, 2013 Vandemataram Foundation organized “Balasabha” for the underprivileged children in the village of Madgula, Mahabub Nagar District.

Distinguished guests Dr. N. Upendhar Reddy garu  (Professor & Head C & T Dept. SCERT, A.P), attended the event.

About 200 children from 20 government schools across the mandal, where our volunteers are regularly involved, participated with electrifying enthusiasm.

About 25 volunteers helped in organizing the event. The children, along with our volunteers were worked hard to prepare themselves for the tough competition ahead. Competitions included elocution, singing, Dance and so on.

We take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors, donors and volunteers for their tireless efforts in making this cultural event a grand success.
