Examination Preparation camp at Torrur Mandal, Warangal District

As we all are aware that by and large, the government school going children are from the down trodden sections of the society either belonging to low caste or low class. Almost all of them are quite intelligent, but they do not have congenial atmosphere to study at home after school. They are deprived of proper study guidance atmosphere that most of the private schools provide in towns and cities. Absence of ‘guide or problem solver’ at home to seek clarification is resulting in loosing the better opportunities in further studies. Predominantly are not in a position to afford to study in corporate schools.
The dream of getting into IIITs (Rural) and admission into corporate colleges remains as a dream to the children from government school due to low scoring marks which is not meeting the eligibility criteria. In view of this with the help of donors, well-wishers and supporters, Vandemataram Foundation is organizing the examination preparation camps at Warangal and Mahaboobnagar since 2007. With amazing results shown by these rural children is motivating the Foundation to conduct Examination Preparation camps and ensures it reaches the beneficiaries.
This year Examination Preparation camps started on February 14, 2010 at Torrur Mandal of Warangal District. Total enrollment of 199 students—95 girl students and 104 boy students. Regional Joint Director Shri P. Laxma Reddy was the Chief Guest and Tulasi Group of Industries Chairman Shri Ramachandra Prabhu was Guest of Honour for the inaugural ceremony. Shri P. Laxma Reddy’s inspirational speech indeed motivated the rural students with positive approach towards board examination and Shri Ramachandra Prabhu speech emphatically stressed on the need for organizing such camps to benefit rural community.
