Schoolchildren celebrate Bhagat Singh’s birth centenary

Hyderabad: Over 120 students from Government schools of Mahabubnagar and Warangal districts participated in a torch rally at Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s birth centenary celebrations in Ramkote on Friday. They raised slogans like ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bhagat Singh amar rahe’ (long live Bhagat Singh) while holding the tricolour and torches.
The rally commenced from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Seva Samiti at Ramkote and went through Koti Women’s College before going back via Sultan Bazaar.

A prayer was conducted near the 1857 war memorial at Koti where Paramveerchakra Vijeta, Grenadier Yogendar Yadav, and Paramveerchakra Vijeta, Riflemman Sanjay Kumar, joined the procession.
